It's great to capture action during sporting events, even soccer from the sidelines across a big field. The strong optical zoom is great. The pictures it takes are crystal clear, sharp, and have true colors. The panorama option is incredible. It stitches three photos together seamlessly. Fortunately my husband put his batteries in the pink camera for me, then it begins to function. I suggest Amazon not to send the batteries along even though it probably comes with the camera. It would mislead consumers to think otherwise, maybe they even would try to return the merchandise due to the faulty batteries. The camera is a simple, easy point and shoot device, light weight.
