First I'd like to say it's durable and blows enormous amounts of air on level 3. But, with that said, its made in china and wasnt put together as good as it could have been. I had to send the first one back because of bad demensions... it couldnt be assembled. I heard that they used to be built in the USA, but i guess since they are made in china now, the quality is questionable. Second... contrary to what others may have said, I love this fan ...more

It is solidly built of metal and durable rubber mounts for a smooth sound. It has three speeds; the lowest barely makes any sound at all, while the high speed blows as hard as you could want in a home. I have used fans since I was a child as a sleep aid. I have owned many fans, several from Patton. Previous Patton fans tended to be `full blast', `full blast plus' and `right speed for full speed'. That is, they lacked a slower speed.
