I remember, years ago, mentioning many times to the people in my office the importance of backing up ones work. On one occasion the entire organization came down with a computer virus and lost all their files. I still had my floppies. Recently, before backing up my files, my computer died. This product arrived sooner than the projected arrival date and worked perfectly in my Ubuntu 9.04 and Ubuntu 9.10 systems. I tried a cheaper flash drive to save some money but it fell apart. A replacement worked better but for some reason it wouldn't save folders correctly. As a result, we lost a lot of pictures as we were tranferring from one laptop to another. I will stick with Kingston from now on. It is very fast and holds a lot of data. ...more
